What ever happened to Human Rights?

Mkay. First post.
Okay, so I have been on the Birth Control Pill since the age of sixteen (16). Mainly because I did not want to abstain from sex, and I knew for years I did not want to produce a finance-raping, drool and germ-infested automatic-drip-shitter (breeders refer to this as a "cwuuuutey wooooty baybyyy"..ick).
So I am concerned for myself and the pill. As many times as I f**ked it up (not finding the pack til the next day, for instance) and nothing bad happened, there is still the possibility of, in calmer terms, my worst fear... pregnancy.
I simply go to my family doctor and tell him straight-up yesterday "I WANT MY TUBES TIED!". I know for a fact tubal legation will not stop menstrual pain but I will deal with that issue later, sterilization is the utmost important goal of all in this life, or any female's life who chooses the easier, more beneficial childFREE lifestyle. So that was that.
He was a little hesitant. "I look at this as if this were my own son or daughter". How lovely, he has a breeder mind-set. I am not his child and am only his responsibility medically, by no other means.
His first ignorality was that he mentioned my age. I am eighteen (18). So what?! If I am old enough to apply for a college at 17 to decide what career path I want to take for "the rest of my life" then where is the difference? (Actually in ninth grade the teacher's said "the courses you choose you choose the path for the rest of your life. There is no going back"..gee nice way to encourage a rational decision on a 14-5 year old KID!)
He knew I had a history of hardships in my past, however these are irrelevant to my Childfree choice. Once I had myself explained he had just told me that it is a minor procedure and minimal pain. He is sending me to a gynecologist.
And a sigh of relief from me!
Half my battle is won. Now it's time to keep getting referrals to and from other gynecologists until I find one willing to give me the procedure!
Still I am abhorring the medical "professionals" in general.. They are no higher standing to judge people than anyone else. A piece of paper from some high-ass class 'University' doesn't put them above human rights. The fact of the matter is: in Canada you are not to be judged upon age, gender, sexuality, religion, race, or anything else from that particular family of ethics... yet doctors and nurses do it on a regular basis.
This really proves to me how weak our medical system is.
